Whaccky Wednesday!!!

Good day...

I am late in my first subject which is math. We have a quiz today and when I enter our classroom at E305, my classmates were already busy answering their test papers. I hurriedly went into my seat, get my test paper from Sir Jon and start answering. The questions were not as mind-boggling as the previous one. I manage to answers the problems except for problems 1 and 4 in which I did not finish to solve. There were only four questions and I don't have any sure answer. I just hope my answers in 2 and 3 are correct and I can only hope that Sir Jon will give partial score.

During English time, Ma'am continue on discussing on our lessons about Arts in different times like Byzantine Art, Renaissance Art, Classical Art, Mannerism Art, etc. But before that, she congratulate all of us for a job well done in our performance last Friday at the Culminating Activity of the English Month(I guess). She also thank us for our cooperation and contribution. Since ma'am had a discussion, we did not have our report on our respective art work. Maybe we'll report sometime next week. Before she ended our class, she gave us an assignment which serves as our semi-final exam. (naa nasad ni). We have to pick one artwork found in any of the museums/art exhibits she mentioned. As usual, we have to analyze a painting but we should dig deeper this time.

Later on in our Accounting subject, Sir did not discuss a lesson because he have observed from his previous class that his students were not in the mood of listening to his discussion. So, Sir just left us and let us discuss about our activities for the JPIA Culminating Night this coming Saturday. We discuss over some things concerning about our participation in the said event. Some concerns were fixed and some remain unfixed.

 ----
Since last week, we are bombarded with tons and tons of school works and that led me to my confusion and anxiety. I don't know now how to manage everything. Where do I start? What should I prioritize? Given a small amount of time, it's almost impossible to manage and finish everything all at once. Sometimes, when I found myself so immersed already with all these crazy school works, I would ask myself, "Why should I devote my time crunching numbers? Why should I spend my time over reflection papers? Why should I memorize all these formulas when in fact, these would get me nowhere? Woud this help me become rich in the future?". I just remember what my former Filipino teacher told us...that someday, we will all forget all those mathematical formulas...we will forget some (if not all) the things we learned in school. What's left are the basic things and these are the things we encounter in our daily life. I agree with what my former teacher said so but why? why should we suffer over these torturing things? Why are the teachers so demanding??? I keep on thinking why and then I realized that this "torture" is part of a student's life and the reason why teachers demand from us could be because they want to bring the good and noble in us. Remember that when we are pressured, we extract good output just like the process of making a sweet and tasty wine.
And last night, as I was making my reflection paper in English, I heard the song "Malayo pa ang umaga" which was the theme song of Agua Bendita. The moment I hear it, it instantly struck me because I can relate my situation to the song.

The lyrics of the song goes like this:
Malayo pa ang umaga
'di matanaw ang pag-asa
hanggang kailan matitiis ang paghihirap ko?
at sa dilim hinahanap
ang pag-asa na walang landas
kailan ba darating ang bukas para sa'kin?
Malayo pa ang umaga

Layo pa gyud ang kabuntagon..Hantod kanus-a man ko naa sa ngit2x??

Weekend na naman!

Hello there! Thannk God I'm alive and thank God it's Friday!
Well...today is the first friday of the month of Feb...
Oh God! It's already the month of February...Love month?

well anyways...

At last...the prolonged midterm exam in accounting 5 is over. We had our exam yesterday and it was just all about theories. (glad). It was not that hard coz I have studied most of the theories but still, there are some questions on theories which I forgot. My wrong answers were between 5-10. Ok, enough for the exam.

Our first subject is math(stat). Sir immediately discuss on our next lesson which is all about the normal curve  which is also known as the bell ciurve. He taught us howe to get its area using the formula simplified by the (according to sir) shoemakers. The original formula that is used to get the area of the curve was formulated by Gauss but when Gauss presented the formula to the shoemakers, they didn't understand it. So, what they did is they simplify the formula that makes it simple to understand and simple to solve with the help of a table of area. But I tell you, it was not easy to solve. It's still difficult but at least, it's not that hard to solve compared to using Gauss' formula. According to Sir, we should thank the shoemakers because if not because of them, we would have a hard time solving for the area of the bell curve. As sir would say it,
"Ayaw ninyo i-underestimate ang mga hamak na shoemakers kay ila baya ng ninuno ang nag-simplify sa formula."  In addition, there wouldn't be a curve shoes if not because of the bell curve. Thanks to the great Mathematician Gauss who got inspired by the curve of the church bell. The history of the bell curve is quite interesting. Nalingaw kaayo ko sa story sa bell curve and the shoemakers. And the good thing is, I understand what Sir discussed in class. Yey!

During English time, the first five groups had their report with their respective artworks. The first five artworks were: Aphrodite, The Discuss Thrower, Chauvet cave paintings, Pantheon, and Hagia Sophia. I like the report of my classmates coz they give me an description, history, and idea of the artworks that they have presented. Ows???

--at this moment, i am at the ss netlab together with three of my blockmates namely, tin2x, judeii, and boyii. i am suppose to make my assignment in stat but unfortunately i don't have a copy of the questions/problems that why i decided to surf here and research about Spoliarium by Juan Luna which we will(Jonalyn and I) present and report in English(grrr) class next week.--

Tuesday...

hello there!

It's Tuesday and it's back to normal class. Yesterday, we don't have a class coz our school celebrated President's Day.

I'm so late in the first subject which is RS35. Nagsalig ko nga dugay mu-abot si ma'am (as she usually does). Only to find out that she arrived early in class.

During accounting time, Sir discussed about our new topic which is all about Tax. He also talked abot Noy2x and Villar. Sir's bet is Noy2x. He really don't like Villar. In my side, I don't have a clear idea to whom will my vote will go. My vote is between noy2x ang gibo teodoro. Anyways, my score in the first part of exam is 8. I just passed and I'm so glad about it.
