Hello!
Hola!
Anyeong Haseyo!
Ta Tia Hao!
Konnichiwa!

Hey there, I miss you. Yes, you!

I know. I know I've been away and silent for too long. It's been like ten months since my last post in January. The month now is October--only two months before it's Christmas and before this year ends.

A lot of things happened between then and now.

First. I didn't make "it" the second time around. I felt like a loser when I shouldn't be. I gotta keep my head up and fuel that fighting spirit in me. Yes, right. God knows I did my best and maybe, just maybe, there's a better reason behind it than I ever know. I accepted with grace and humility. I still thank God for the opportunity.

Second. Just a week after that disheartening exam, I began job searching together with two of my friends; Jude and Flora.

Third. The job searching part was a challenging one. I never thought it would be that nerve-racking, tiring, and expensive (producing photocopies of personal documents). I remember how day after day, I and Jude would go along the streets of Divisoria, open the doors of business establishments and banks and submit our resumes. I would always keep my mobile phone line open and make sure that I can hear every incoming call/text--just because maybe it's my potential employer who's calling.

Fourth. After three months or so, I got hired. And guess what? I was hired in a government institution (GOCC)-- my dream work place. Thank you Lord!!!!

Fifth. (Final) My position as of now may not be very relevant to my degree, but at least I'm learning the process and I'm earning. Yeah. I'm happy with my workplace. God really put me in a good workplace--where the working environment is good and where the peers are also very nice and open and welcoming.  My workplace is already my comfort zone and my second home.

It was an answered prayer actually and I can't thank God enough for the gift of work.

I hope and I pray that I will remain in my current workplace. I also pray that I may personally and professionally grow in there and strengthen my bond and relationship with my office mates.

xoxo,
