Celebrating the Feast of Saint Ignatius
Yesterday, July 30, 2007, the whole XUHS community celebrated the feast of St. Ignatius of Loyola. The feast of St. Ignatius was on July 31 but usually most schools celebrate it the day before the feast day.
Our sixth and seventh period was cancelled. We had a community mass. After that, we had a short break and proceed to our programs. Some students present some presentations. The best part of the program was the Parade of Banners. This is the part I like most. There are many good banners but I like most our banner. After some several presentations again was the announcing of the winners of the banner making contest. In the fourth year, the class of 4-Daniels ranked third place while our class, which is 4-Mayer ranked second place! I am so proud of our banner and class. Thanks to Lirra, our chief herald. From designing the banner, making, and defending it, she was always there! We owe her a debt of gratitude. Many thanks too to some of my classmates who offered their residence for the venue and snacks...hehe. Thanks for those who helped in making it! The first place was the class of Garnet, as expected!!!
I had a great day yesterday! Good thing, the review was cancelled. =)

SEniOr PresSure
Waaaahhhhhhhhhh.....
I am so much pressured! Homeworks here...homeworks there...quiz and test everywhere! Can I get enough sleep or relaxation?
Senior life is so time-pressured! You ought to bare with it or else you will not graduate. My God, If only I have the powers to have the correct answers of my assignments and tests, then I will not have hard time studying! But it's something elusive you know. As what they said, no glory when no pain!
